Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf exists to reach, teach, and nurture the Deaf of Jamaica so that they can experience the joy of knowing Jesus and serving within their community. We accomplish this by operating three residential schools spread geographically across the island (Kingston, Knockpatrick, and Montego Bay) as well as a centrally located Jamaica Deaf Village (Mandeville), which ministers with adult Deaf and their children.   For more information, visit  https://www.cccdjamaica.org/
Less than 2% of the world’s 70 million Deaf people know God. Add to that, 90% of them struggle to read so the written Bible makes no sense. We exist to bring the Bible to the heart language of every Deaf person in the world.

DOOR's vision is to bring God's Word and reproducing Christian fellowship to the Deaf of the world. The hallmark of DOOR's ministry is that it is created, designed, and carried out by godly Deaf men and women, in the context of Deaf culture and language. DOOR is all about Deaf reaching Deaf for Jesus Christ.

Portage Lake Bible Camp invites campers to step out of their daily routines and into a Christ-centered community built around REAL fun and REAL faith in an unforgettable setting.  Since 1946, Portage Lake has been synonymous with changing lives.  It is our desire that our guests are presented with the Truth and leave camp hungry for a deeper spiritual walk and significance.  We want people to see Jesus for who He really is and challenge Christians to impact the cultures around them. Mark and Rose Mowery serve with the Desert Springs ministry in Alaska.  Desert Springs seeks to provide God-centered, Christ-magnifying, Scripture-saturated, confidential, and accessible shepherding and spiritual refreshment for missionary families so they can remain faithfully committed to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as effectively as possible for as long as possible.
Mark and Rose have been with Desert Streams Ministry since 2018.  They are based in Alaska, continuing to develop the relationships they have there, but also traveling overseas to encourage pastors and missionaries living cross-culturally.  See  https://www.desertstreamsministry.org/ for more information.

Formerly named Forgotten Man Missions, Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry offers a new life in Christ to inmates in Michigan county jails.
Reverend Sarah Montgomery serves as the lead chaplain at the Allegan County Corrections Center through Reach the Forgotten.   The ministry believes in the redemption and restoration of inmates through Jesus Christ.   As the largest jail-focused ministry in the U.S., Reach the Forgotten empowers chaplains and volunteers to share hope and salvation with the “forgotten” women and men incarcerated in Michigan’s county jails.   Click here to learn more:   https://forgottenman.org/
